Update: Pluvicto continues to work for me. After 3 of 6 treatments in my second regimen of Pluvicto, PSA is 34.3, down from 55.5 the month before. Next treatment is 9/20/23. Once again, to review:
Treatment #1 - 5-15-23 PSA (est) 297
Labs 5-23-23 - PSA = 193
Labs 6-23-23 - PSA = 147
Treatment #2 - 6-27-23
Labs 7-21-23 - PSA = 55.5
Treatment #3 - 8-14-23
Labs 8-23-23 - PSA = 34.3
Treatment #4 coming up 9-20-23.

As for side effects, there's some more fatigue, but still manageable. Some dry mouth at night, but not as bad as doctor said it could be. Keep in mind, brothers and sisters, my next treatment on the 20th of this month will be my TENTH infusion of LU-177 / Pluvicto. While we all know that everyone is different, as is their cancer and reaction to treatment, this should give folks hope that this treatment CAN WORK extremely well.

It's incredible, to my eyes, seeing how each subsequent PLUVICTO treatment packs a mighty wallop against those renegade cancer cells.

Each treatment results in a significant & sharp decrease in PSA levels.

I'm so happy to see your impactful treatment results.

These are new treatments that used to out on the far horizon. Now, they're actually HERE ~ and they are having a powerful impact.

Your shared experiences here are really blazing a path forward, and we're all learning more about PLUVICTO treatments from your posts.

Diagnosed ten years ago now, I give thanks that new treatments and approaches HAVE emerged in the past decade.

Thanks, Cyclone, for checking in. My good news continues: after treatment #4 (or #10 for those keeping score of my entire LU-177/Pluvicto trek), my PSA continues to drop --from 34.3 to 21.7. That's down from around 297 on 5/15/23 after 4 treatments. More labs next week.
As for the SE's, treatment #4 was basically the same as all the others this round. Some added fatigue, but not much more than my Lupron provides me all the time. My blood counts are also good (red, white, platelets in range) so I'm preparing for #5 on November 8. Thanks as always for all the support of the brothers and sisters here. Steve

I really appreciate your updates. It made me more confident going through my first round of Pluvicto this year (PSA 57 to 5), and continues to give me hope that another round (next year?) will keep me rolling.

Not only did your first series of PLUVICTO treatments work in impactful ways, this second series is making a noteworthy and undeniable difference!

I have no doubt your medical team marvels at these impactful treatments.

What I especially appreciate is that this is an entirely new approach ~ distinctly different from chemotherapy or radiation.

I think of you often ~ and I will be mindful of you, as your treatments continue, Steve.

Update:
Pluvicto continues to work extremely well for me. I've now had 5 of the 6 treatments in my second round of this (so, I've done ELEVEN of these!) and PSA continues to drop. In fact, this last month, the drop was over 50%, from 17.8 to 8.8!

On May 15, 2023, my PSA had jumped quickly to around 300. so we're at 8.8 and hoping we can get at least down to 3. That would mean that each regimen of LU-177/Pluvicto would have reduced PSA by a factor of 100. From 65 to 0.65 and from 300 to 3. Pretty incredible.

And after 11 treatments, my SEs continue to be manageable. Lower GI issues for about 7-10 days, and RBC/WBC/Platelet blood work is slightly lower, but still good and more than enough to get treatment #12.

How are you doing now that you've completed your last Pluvicto treatments? Are you feeling well? We're waiting to see if Denny will receive another round from UVA. Previous treatments ended in August, now PSA is on the rise. Fingers crossed (for both of you).
