. . . thanks to the seemingly unlimited resources provided by the Internet, we can with just a little searching find video accounts of past eclipses, giving us a vicarious participation in the viewing of one, showing us what today's is likely going to be like.

just how much more fascinating being at such a viewing in person must be like!
Here's hoping the weather along the eclipse path today will be mostly cooperative, and that the people who have made arrangements to watch will indeed get a once in a lifetime view of this wonder!
