PSA screenings at different Labs?

Hello- wondering if anyone has had significantly different PSA readings down by different labs. Husband (61) had the following at the same lab:
6/21 .81
12/22 1.0
4/23. 2.9
2/24. 3.4
3/24. 6.7
Saw urologist who has him scheduled for MRI and possible biopsy. Urine test was clean. No urinary issues . DRE revealed enlarged prostate.

Then he just tested at a different lab last week:
4/24. 1.1

Significant difference! If it’s a miracle- we’ll take it! Just didn’t know if others have seen significant difference using different labs. He was not put on any medication for the high PSA.

Sela, it's not likely caused by different labs. It could be that hubby had an infection that cleared up on its' own and now the PSA has returned to normal. Or, and I hate to bring this up, this could be a lab error since his PSA hasn't been that low since 2022. I recommend repeating the PSA test, avoiding sex or vigorous activity like bike riding prior to the test. That way you can see if the miracle is true or an unfortunate error.

Yes; like Tudpock wrote another PSA test is called for. I hope the result will put you all at ease once again.
