Title says it all. A friend of mine who has been fighting an advanced case of prostate cancer is now down to trying Pluvicto. His oncologist described it as experimental and that he was the first one in Kentucky to receive it. He's had three treatments so far and it seems to be helping for now. Anyone with experience with Pluvicto?

Yes, there are several threads on this forum that relate to Pluvicto. Just use the search function. But I will add that the treatment isn't 'experimental' anymore. Results of a large trial (VISION) have been published more than two years ago in the NEJM:

Yep that's me, Mumbo!
I did six LU-177 (aka Pluvicto) at UCLA before FDA approval.
Then when it became FDA approved and labelled Pluvicto, I decided to do six more.
Many posts will provide all the details.

I'd say it's well past experimental and in the realm of proven treatments. It showed clear benefit in a gold standard ph 3 study. My doctors at Dana Farber / Harvard Med are seeing great results and have been using it for almost two years now. The actual treatment is easy to take except for some short quarantine stuff. And it's extended my life most certainly...
Good stuff...
