I got my AUS a couple of years ago and it was life changing. Before I used depends pads and used 6 to 8 per day. I now use the shields for drips and dribbles on some days and other days don't need them. Normally just change when I shower. My uro that did the AUS also does the slings but after he did a a look into the bladder neck said the sling was not for me. I also was G-9 and had RP and 39 radiation treatments. I question your regular uro's estimation of success at less than 50%. I would think with the AUS you could get 100% out of the depends.
Good luck and let us know how it turns out,
Noggin
