In another thread, Weili posted the following....

"I have had the same kind of dull pain in my left groin after a year with HDR Brachytherapy 2020.
My family doctor and I cannot find a sharp pain point.
My CT and other blood and urinary tests are all good without any problems. My PSA have been below 0.3 for four years. I talked to my doctors two years ago, they said if test results are OK, nothing is to be worry about too much.
I am feeling good excepting the dull pain. I couldn’t tell the pain when I was in bed or doing some house work. I could feel the uncomfortable dull pain when I stood up from a sitting position.
I am not sure what would be my next step."

The dull pain in my groin area turned out to be a hernia.

Similar situation for me. When I was diagnosed with PCa the CT scan showed a “fat filled inguinal hernia” on my left side. We decided not to treat as it wasn’t bothering me. Several years later it started bothering me and it was repaired via Da Vinci robotic surgery. The hernia and my HDRBT were completely non-related.

Have a similar dull ache in left groin since surgery that has never totally gone away or developed into anything. No cause found but I later developed an inguinal hernia on the right side that I had robotically repaired and surgeon checked out left side and no hernia was found. It is mainly an annoyance since late 2018 and seems to vary with some types of exertion but nothing I can do about it.

Mumbo, similar here, but mirror image. Main reason I chose robotic was to check other side within the one procedure. Neither open nor laparoscopic surgery can do so. Left side was repaired and right side showed no evidence. Now six years out, no problems or pain at any time from either side.
