This is confusing as another source is saying colon cancer. So who knows?

I have also seen several reports of colon cancer. The first report from the NBA was prostate cancer. I haven’t seen anything definitive from any family members or people close to him like a spokesperson.

Great comment Sailor. Prostate and colon cancer are two of the easiest cancers to find early when best treatable using well proven, common and inexpensive methods of early surveillance. For PCa screening PSA testing is easy and cheap as is the DRE. For our ladies, breast cancer screening is effective, available and affordable.

The National Cancer Institute lists 5 different Colo-rectal screening methods. Three are completely non invasive with two done in one’s own bathroom. All the methods are relatively or absolutely low cost and reimbursed by most healthcare insurance, Medicare and other third party payor services. We now have the Virtual Colonoscopy available that also provides valuable information regarding other organs such as the bladder and kidneys.

So three of the most common life threatening cancers are also the ones that have the most robust screening processes to facilitate early detection for more effective treatment.
