Due to a couple of less than optimum PSA results, I have been hanging around here for about a month.  I want each and everyone of you to pat yourselves on the back and understand that you are high quality people.  The courage, consideration and decency I have seen here is impressive.

Hi Bill,

I'm pretty new here too and was like you in that I just "lurked" for a while.  I was also impressed with the quality of people on this board.  They are sincere, caring, educated and more than willing to help in any way they are able.  After a while, I finally felt comfortable enough to jump in.  They have really helped us.

Hi Bill,

Its really good to hear that we are a comfort to others. We have all walked the scary path that you now travel, and it was very comforting to us when the friends here lent a hand. I hope your circumstances change like my friend's did; after further testing his diagnosis was not PCa. So we will be here for you when ever you ask. Please keep us posted.

i only joined about three weeks ago . my dad has pc . at first i was stressed out as i was reading far too much on the internet . i was getting a headache with it all untill i joined this board . because these people have gone through it they are very understanding to the person with pc asnd also to their loved ones . at first i was afraid to maybe say the wrong thing but now i look forward to getting on and finding out how everyones doing . no matter what the situation everyone is so positive .

Thanks to all of you for your positive responses.  Like Letty and petal, I was reluctant to post.  After all, I don't even have a problem - just a maybe.  Glen, since you said you were glad to know that others appreciate and benefit from what you and others do here, I'm glad that I said what I did.  bluebird, I don't even know you, but I'm crazy about you.  You made me feel like a million bucks.  Thanks to you all.

Hi Bill, Just joined today i go for pre op tommorow at sloan in nyc. rad prosectemy. psa 3.3 gleason 3+3 and I give my 2nd pint just in case surgery 10/12/06. These people are great I get a lumpin my throat thinking about them. we are in the same boat.Its nice to be able to talk. I willget back to you all after tommorow. " keep on rockin" Mike k.
