I made it throught a few rough spots but not as bad as I thought it wqas going to be. Me and my friend Foley are getting along just splendidly. Thanks everyone for your thoughts and prayers. I will let you all know more as I feel up to it.

Bless You ~ 56 Pontiac ….   What a wonderful sighting to see your Thread!!!!!!   I wish for you and Foley… the best!!!!   He was our best friend too!!!!   Knowing there is healing going on… it is great that he is there to help you.   You have a wonderful positive attitude and this will definitely make your recovery go smoothly.   There are always those stepping-stones we don’t expect to be there but we just deal with them….. and with a positive attitude we get over them much easier.   Continue on your healing/recovery path…..   You’ve skipped very nicely over these stones and it sounds like you are doing GREAT!!!!!   Remember…. Hi 56 pontiac,

Glad to hear you are home. I saw a 56' Pontiac FI w/factory AC, and it was in absolute mint condition! Thought that might cheer you up a bit. So hopefully you are doing well, and making a record recovery. I have found BBQ'd pork short ribs and beer to be a vital element in any fast recovery regiment although it can't be medically substantiated. A big slice of Key Lime Pie is also known for its magical curative powers. I'm a true believer in the healing powers of "Feel Good Foods". Good luck, and hope to hear from you soon.

56 pontiac, Shepla here getting Mr. Foley taken out Monday 23rd. Otherwise not so bad. Went outside today walked 1/2 block up 1/2 block back home. I guess prayer and people pulling for you works! Shepla

Just checking in to see how you’re doing?  When do you get to say goodbye to your new friend?  I hope things are going well for you. 

 

I wanted to let you know you’re in our thoughts and prayers as you continue on your journey….  Amazing isn’t it…. It’s like reaching the top of a mountain and knowing the route home is sooooo comforting.

Doing real well everythin seems to be working ok. The catheter comes out Monday along with the staples.

Shepla- I am scheduled for Laparoscopic surgery at Sloan Kettering the Monday after Thanksgiving. Met with Dr. Bertrand Guillonneau. Who was your doctor?
