Hi everyone hope everybodys doing well. Well it looks like i am definately going to to join the club, went to see surgeon yesterday for results of recent biopsy for second opinion, they said it confirmed what they had found on the previous one, gleason 3.3 PC. To be honest it was nothing less than i expected
so i hadnt built my hopes up, they couldnt give me bad news twice, ive been ready for this for over a month now so im looking at this as a little glitch that has prolonged the wait for a few weeks, operation will be on 12 January. At least we can get xmas out of the way and then just concentrate on getting myself ready for the op, im sure i might have a couple of beers and a few mince pies over the holiday ( got to spoil yourself sometimes ) then bring it on, im ready for anything. Great to see our good friend Geobet1 ( george ) is doing great, im going to use him as an example for myself, he has been so positive throughout his ordeal and all his exercising and walking has paid off he seems to have little or no side effects at all, so positive we shall be.
Well thats all i can tell you good people for now, obviously i will keep you posted about progress throughout, until the next time all keep getting better and lets not forget to be positive.

I'm sure the worst is behind you . . . with all those biopsies and a delay, the surgery itself should be a "piece of cake".

The hard part is over for you.  Worrying about the news is worse than getting it.  (It was for me.)  Stay close to this forum and know that we are all thinking about you.
