Hi all, i am overwhelmed at the amount of you great people who have been watching my progress and thank you all for your reassuring comments an thoughts, but lets not forget we are all in this together and it is great that we are all there for each other, i may not post to many times or reply to many posts but trust me good people im out there watching you all, and anyone of you is welcome to ask me any advice or anything that you want, feel free, there are a few more people on here more qualified than me but someone described me as now im a " veteran " if i can be of assistance do not hesitate.
Still walking, went out twice today and certainly knew id been on return from the second one, maybe a little less tomorrow, didnt realise us men p**d so much, seem to be taking my little friend for a visit every hour or so if i didnt i would be walking like john wayne. No pain anymore just a few twinges around the belly muscles but can feel im getting stronger each day, new techniques in surgery are amazing I had Laproscopic procedure and am amazed how good i feel, just think not to many years ago i would probably have been in hospital for weeks.
Just like you to all spare athought for my old dad as it was due to him having the same disease as us that i found out about myself, so in theory it was him that has hopefully saved my life by being diagnosed so early, so if youre up there dad looking out for me, thanks i owe you one.
Sorry about that its just me being stupid but im sure its the same for many of you out there, being tested early would save so many people, so i urge all of you to get sons and brothers tested when the time is right and any outsiders out there reading this you too should get yourself done, a simple blood test thats all it takes. Our doctors over here say get yourself tested from 50 due to my dad ive been tested since i was 40 ( now 48 ) my son i will advise to get tested from 35, i would like to hear your thoughts on this one. Thats enough from me now but again many thanks to you all and i will keep you all posted.

Hi Mike,   It’s good to know that you’re out and about !!   And feeling good… remember to take time to heal & recover ~ because you’re still healing inside.   Extra Reminder…. Don’t lift anything heavy.     Yes ~ there’s no doubt in my mind that your dad is watching over you!   I know my mom watches over us and helps guide us.   I feel her special touch so often!!   I related to your words about your dad and it isn’t stupid at all.    If it’s wrong ~ I don’t want to be right!!!!!   J   (We might have a song here!!!)   We have both become very verbal.   We’ve had an opportunity to talk to many men and young men too! at the YMCA.   Also ~ our new car insurance agent knows all about it and the last time I spoke to him he had gone in to be tested and came back fine!!!   Come to find out his dad had a large prostate and they went in to help reduce the size and after closing him up… the biopsy came back positive.   So ~ he’s waiting a few months and will start radiation.   I even spoke to our postmaster about getting checked….     Take care and know we keep you close in thoughts and prayers.
