Puget, sorry to be so long in replying. I agree with Dave. It is my understanding that they get the whole thing and then some. That's one of the reasons it's so successful.

My appointment with my uro was nothing. He just kind of wanted to know how I was doing. Next one in two months for my first PSA. I feel fine. Still a bit tired, but not too much. Better each and every day - I mean it. Each and every day.

P.S. I have come a long way in great part due to the fine people here. My deepest thanks to all of you. I feel sorry for those with prostate cancer who don't find their way here.

I got a call from the FAA today.  They are going to approve my application for a special issuance First Class Medical Certificate.  Some paperwork has to get done, then I'll take my physical on the 22nd of May.  Then get some refresher training and I'm once again airborne.

What a relief.

Hi Bill

That's wonderful news and I am sure that you are elated! Getting back to the things we love after treatment for PCa gives us a great feeling. I am three weeks past the end of my proton radiation treatments and the feeling of freedom and not having to deal with the day to day stress of PCa from diagnosis until completing treatments is joyous to say the least. May you soar to the heavens in your jet and have a smooth landing for your future PSA tests. With all good wishes.

What wonderful news for you! You've been through alot, as many here have, and from reading your posts it sounds like you've learned alot about yourself.

Jetguy - you've had quite a ride on the ground. Congrats and now you can get back to it, flyboy! You have to know how important this particular trip is to this forum. So, keep it up and next time we see a jet cutting a hole in the skies of East Texas, we'll wave.
