Hi Everyone!  Hope you all had a nice holiday.  I went next door to a neighbor who was having a big celebration, only stayed a hour or so due to the leg bag.  Sat down to eat with 2 older coulpes (late 70's), and found out the man beside me was just diagnosed with PC age 78, overall health real good.  Told him I am 13 days the other side, he could not believe me.  His numbers were good 6 Gleeson, 6.5 PSA. Told him he is at a good place to look for difference treatments, but not WW.  Hopefully he will stay in touch. Every where you go PC shows up!

Cathether come out on Monday 3 days early!  HALALOOYA!!! tongue

Catheter OUT!!  How do you spell RELIEF?

Less than 3 weeks out, and feeling fine.  Thank s everyone for all the support!  PSA in 2 weeks!  Always something!! nono

Broker - Good for you to be catheterless! That is a word on this site!!!

You've had good news up to this point and it will continue when you get your first PSA.

Broker, great news!  Keep being positive, your receovery will continue and you can go on to dance at your Grand-daughter's wedding!

yeah  Dancing at my Grand Daughter's wedding!  HOW WONDERFUL THAT WILL BE!!! tongue

Slept really well last night 9 hours with no real leaking, got up twice to void. ALL in ALL I have been very Blessed, and fortunate to have such a pain free journey.  The support form everyone here has without a doubt been a big contributor to this.

Excellent news Broker! Very good to hear of the PSA result. God speed and heal well. Have a wonderful day celebrating with your family. We are jumping up and down with you in hearing this news.

I took a lot of comfort from CJ's numbers.  Except fro the original PSA our numbers were almost the same. He had the same procedure I had, and did very well with the follow up PSA 0.01.  We have been fortunate to say the least!

You SHOULD be encouraged, and optomistic.  This cancer at your stage is very curable.  I am 5 week post op and going on vacation for a week.  Please be positive, and understand with this cancer many treatments are available for the first round, it's after the first round where you get in trouble.  As many of my fellow cancer survivors have said surgery gets the prostate out, where it can be fully tested, you get your true Gleeson, and you have removed the source of the cancer.  Let me tell you there is PEACE OF MIND with that.

Almost a year, I can remember the time so vividly yeah   I have been blessed so far with GREAT PSA tests, my next one is 6/11, hoping to continue the winning streak.  Next week at Bryn Mawr Health center they are having a cancer survivor party, looking forward to attending.  Things are good, my oldest daughter who posted our picture on Time Square last Fathers Day, had a beautiful baby boy in December.  My first grandchild, and I just can't get enough of him, I have become a "Baby Hog" according to my daughters.  Speaking of Daughters, my youngest is getting married in October, and I am looking forward to walking her down the isle.

NO complaints here, I'm a lucky guy tongue
