I had my prostate removed on June 27th and am still very incontinent. Last week my doctor said I should wait 6 more months and then decide if I should get a sling (if I am still incontinent, but not too bad) or to get an artificial sphincter (if I'm still bad). In the meantime however, he recommended a urodynamics test, in which you drink until your bladder is completely full, and then the doctor looks at the condition of your bladder to see how the plumbing is looking and reacting to fluids. Has anyone had this done, and did you find it helpful in figuring things out? I am getting it done this Tuesday.
