I bought a used first edition of Dr. Walsh's "Guide To Surviving Prostate Cancer" and later bought a new second edition to make sure that I had the latest information available. I read the 2nd edition and have only scanned the 1st edition. At a quick glance, I don't see much difference in the two.

I would like to give the 1st edition to someone that needs it. If you do not have this book, or have access to a copy of one, let me know and it is yours. First response gets the book. If you want to reimburse the postage, that would be great, but not required.

Disclaimer: I bought the book on Ebay. It was formerly a library book, and the person that I bought it from apparently purchased it from the library when it was replaced with the second edition.

Hey ~ Triker, I hope you no longer have this book!!! We gained so much knowledge from Dr. Walsh and continue to pull from his information to help others. And know it's there for us in the future should we need it!!! This is a gift someone will truly benefit from!!!!! Take care and continue to move forward in your fight. The book is still available. I feel sure that there is someone out there that needs it, but I have had no requests for it yet.

Thanks Lee & Buddy for your kind words. Surgery is just 20 days away. I am trying not to dwell on it too much, but I have to admit that it comes to mind more often than I would like.

Hi Triker,

I am also a new member and now 6 weeks after DeVinci surgery.  Getting better every day and looking forward to starting vacuum rehab.  There is a wealth of encouragement and knowledge in this group and I feel so fortunate to have found the site.  We would worry about you if you didn't "dwell" on your upcoming surgery at least some every day.  Bring your concerns, no matter how small, here to share with these wonderful, caring individuals and the answers seem to flow from everywhere.
