My father is going through adjuvant therapy..actually he is starting his HT today. He had a positive node, therefore, he needs to be on HT for two years and is doing RT most likely in a few months once his continence has improved. (Even though his first PSA scores were "undetectable".)
In our experience we found that many of the Radiation Oncologists will recommend at least a couple of months HT prior to radiation. It is believed that the HT shrinks the cancer and improves the radiation outcome. There are a few guys in similar situations to yours in the forum and all of them have been an incredible resource and source of strength. Best of luck to you in your treatment decisions and journey! Cheers to 0's in your very near future.
