Rip, I saw that you had a bladder sling done at the time of your surgery. Can you give us any insight as too why your Dr. did this? Did he suspect incontenance problems? I am one of the incontenant guys here (15 months). THe Dr. I am seeing for incontenance believes I will need the AUS instead of the sling. I am thinking I would rather have the sling. Even if I had to do one, then go back and have the AUS done if that did not work. I just do not like the idea of all the plumbing being inside me for another 30+ years if I am to live that long!
I would appreciate any information you may have.
