I keep seeing welcome message but not the original?

what is wrong with me? Am I seeing the future? :)

In my case, it's when I see someone posting for the first time but inside another thread, usually as a comment by them on something in the thread. I just pull them out for the Welcome whenever I notice them. I just start a seperate Welcome thread for them, that's why you are seeing the future...lol
