To move on with life Gordy got himself a new car. I was wanding what everyone else is doing to move on with life. I bought a new John Deere tractor with a loader an backhoe. Did'nt have a real reason to buy it but boy is it fun to help the wife plant flowers now.

I just got rid of two antiques '72 VW Bug and '53 MG-TD.
Out with the old .... in withthe new!
I'm look'n at a bright RED Porche Boxter. Don't need it! JUST WANT IT!
Do I need any other reason?

My wife and I are celebrating our 35th anniversary this year and our good friends down the street are celebrating their 40th.  I spent my 10 days at home with the catheter in researching a 2 week trip for us to all celebrate our anniversaries.  We chose an Alaska Cruisetour with 4 days in Alaska before a 7 day cruise and then 4 days in Vancouver/Victoria/Seattle. 

Not a new car but a great trip we continue to look forward to.  Gives me something to aim for in August to be completely over all the side effects from surgery.  David

Already had a C6 cool so my husband got a 1990 ZR-1 and spent the first three months of his recovery restoring it. (Not that it needed heavy duty restoring; it only had 1300 miles on it!). Now that he's feeling pretty much back to normal, we've got two weeks scuba diving in Hawaii (Kona and Kauai) planned for September.

Hi guys. Working on the house. So far a new roof and a (Big Deck). One of these days it's going to be a Corvette!!!

Bought the wife a new car.  I now drive her old one....

Also, about the time of my prostate surgery a very close friend asked me to go with him to Alaska in late July for 7 days of fishing....9 day trip overall.....so THAT is my treat for myself.  Really excited about the fishing excursion.  Will be my first of this type.

Roger that doesn't sound bad I bought the tractor one month before I found out so it realy is cheating, after we found out we or me decided to cut back on spending also. But I am looking forward to being cancer free then I told her I want a 100hp cab tractor (again I don't have no reason to have it but it would be a fun tractor ride).

Once I'm pass the 5 year mark, we're thinking nice cruise off the coast of alaska, or the med would be REALLY nice. I bought my wife (yes she wanted one) a nice John Deere a few years ago ;)

Piano a few marigolds? Her life is gardening if I don't put the brakes on her our 5 acre lot would be one garden. I have to save some of it for my sand box.

Roger we are also talking a cruise maybe this fall or next spring. But I want to be off this hormone treatment first, an no pads.

Just got my first PSA and it was undetectable so we celebrated by buying a golf cart so we could watch the beautiful mountain sunsets and be thankfull to be alive to enjoy it. We live on 60 acres in rural southeastern New Mexico.

My husband's PCa was considered Stage IV at diagnosis in February 07. We spent two weeks in Hawaii last January and hope to take several trips this summer. We are trying to do things now rather than "some day". Have also added a new puppy to the family who gives us a lot of laughs.

How does a new 38 foot 5th wheel with 4 or 5 slides sound?  Oh, and a new Dodge dually to pull it. 

That is Debbie's shopping list.
