Hey Les,

You told me in my bad news thread that you and I are in the same boat.  You bet we are!!!  And I'm rowing like h*** for you now and you can row for me in a few weeks...

I did not read Les' thread, but whatever it is I am counting on you two guys to continue to be our guiding light. We need the hope and inspiration you guys have. Anything we can do let us know.

I can't speak anyone else, but all I'm doing is what I've told others to do for many, many years - that is to try to be strong and to not give up. It's not so easy when the shoe is on the other foot and I'm more surprised than anyone else at how I've been able to deal with my situation. There are times, my last visit to Houston in February, for example, when I haven't been able to practice what I preach, but I have been able to bounce back. I'm about to go back to Houston for more tests in a week and, because of my disappointment last time, I'm feeling very apprehensive. But I'm convinced that even if the news is not good again, and I have no reason to think it will be good, I'm convinced I'll be able to get over it mentally in a few weeks, due, in large part, to you guys and dolls and Carol and Gina.

Gordy! Gordy! Gordy!!!! I'll be the gal on the front that says "row, row, row" or whatever that person does up at the front of the crew team :-) We will be thinking of you and praying that the Lupron has done the trick. Hang in there friend. We will be your oars if you need a little rest or strength. Fight on friend!! We truly are in this ship together.

I can put an oar in the water, too.  The problem is if Les and I are together.  We're like two kids who shouldn't be allowed to play together.  We both like fast cars, old whiskey and other things.  Maybe we could each be in a different boat and have a race.  The winner gets a bottle of that lovely booze you introduced be to at Houston's.  I can't remember the name.  Wonder why?  A sweet Irish, if I recall.  Enquiring minds (or lack thereof) want to know.
