Two Weeks after surgery

I want to thank everyone for all your prayers and wishes. This web site has been great in helping my wife and I get through prostate cancer. The catheter was removed ( what a relief). No pads needed at night, 1-2 pads during the day I just have to remember to kegal. I am feeling pretty good. I am up to walking 4 miles a day and have returned to work today. My doctor's were great and my pathlogy report was good news.I am taking 25mg of viagra at night. I started having erections with the catheter in place which was not to pleasent but I was not going to complain. The day after the catheter was removed I was able to have a usable erection but the Dr. said to wait 2 weeks before sex. I can't believe I am so lucky. I need to have a blood test in 7 weeks and will hope for good results.

That is great news.  Welcome to the "erection with catheter still in club".

I had my first post op erection after 5 days with cath still in. Yes, ouch. But I was glad to have it. Good idea to wait 2 weeks before sex. Those orgasmic spasms can really stress the surgery. You will be pad free real soon.

As for the erections, keep blood flowing into your penis as much as possible. You really are lucky and you will realize how much in 2 weeks with your wife.
