Before my husband was diagnosed with PC he never was much interested in IC. I was always the one with the "healthy" appetite. Once he was diagnosed with advanced PC, I blamed his previous uninterest on the PC. It has been and is very very hard for me. The doctor has given him something to get an erection (I think it is cialus), but he sleeps from the time he comes home from work until he wakes up to go to bed! I am a very lonely married person. I realize that he is hurting, but he doesn't talk about
it, and none of you, even with your treatments, seem to be going through this.
I had BC right before he was diagnosed with his PC, but I still felt the need to "be loved" even through my chemo. He doesn't even care if I hug him, kiss him or whatever. We never ever talk at all anymore and I am always the one that has to make suggestions about doing anything, whether it be sex or just going out. He claims he is not depressed.
I admire you wives for sticking around your men because I am having a very hard time, but I must be the only one being shunned through this whole ordeal. It seems as though you men are leaning to your wives, mine just ignores me. He doesn't even try anymore.
Sometimes I don't even want to go home.
Does anyone have any help?
