MUSE response

For those who’ve tried MUSE, but didn’t respond, how many times did you use it before deciding that it wasn’t effective for you? The overall effectiveness rate seem pretty low. For those who’ve used MUSE, I’d be interested in whether you knew right away whether it did or didn’t work for you, or if there are any tricks or techniques to improve the success rate.

I had nerve sparing da Vinci surgery on 10/21/08. After my catheter was removed on 10/28/08, I started taking 5 mg of Cialis, every other day. I’ve noticed some enlargement, but nothing to get excited about. I was given a 250 mg dose of MUSE at the doctor’s office, and had some limited response. I was sent home with 500 mg doses, and have tried it, after taking 10 mg of Cialis, and then 20 mg of Cialis. I don’t want to be hasty, but I don’t think it’s working for me. I also understand it’s only been eight weeks since my surgery, so I need to be patient.

But how many times should you try MUSE, before deciding if it works?

I’ve found this site to be incredibly helpful, both before and after my surgery. One of the principal reasons I’ve recovered so quickly, is that almost everything that I experienced, I had read about, before hand. There were no surprises. Thank you all, for being so generous with your first person accounts, practical advice, sympathy and support. This forum has been a blessing.

I tried Muse with limited success but it was painful.  Trimix is much more effective for me and causes little or no pain.  Some guys use Bimix with very good results.  Good luck.
