hey ther astro, you wanna tat ,,,,,,,,,,,get a tat remember there are plenty of people who will profile and judge you if you have ink ,thats just the shallow minded hypocritical society we live in today,i personally think you wont mind the tat a bit in 10 yrs or grow tired of looking at it ,tattoos are a little story of where weve been in our lives it reminds us of who we are and what we might have endured ,most will say something stipid or judgemental like ....what do you need atat for ,im thinking of one myself  email me and ill share ,its the blue ribbon with  PSa survivor on it , people would rather judge(as if they were qualified) than view it in several lights .when i get mine i HOPE someone comments on it so maybe i can ask about there psa or if they are even familiar with it or PCa , i will use it not only to remind me ,but to reach out to others,,,i say do what you want and good for you,,funny thing is most people who are against them dont have the balls to comment on them to you anyway . have several and all are special and no ive never been to prison,,,and i have a sleeve  good for you my brother  bring awareness anyway you can  ,,,,wish you well.......dirt

I was going to say, Gunner, bet it works on the PC, but sure you will be stuck with the a-holes, they never seem to go away, not matter what treatment plan. lol.

I can't imagine wanting to forget this experience years down the road. I plan on being here 30 years from now and I rather like the idea of having a permanent reminder of this experience. As I mentioned in my initial post, I never thought I'd want a tattoo - I'm the conservative one in the household (wife is the canceling democrat). However, for some unexplainable reason, I feel like I have to do this. I don't care what others think about tattoo's - what other people think has never occurred to me to worried about.

Being a conservative, I was thinking "small. clean and elegant" - just a simple blue ribbon. Something that would remind me of this battle, and evoke conversation with others. However, this dragon with a blue ribbon thing.... that does sounds really interesting.

After talking to my wife about this, she wants to also get a tattoo of this same theme. Then she mentioned getting her belly button pierced. I'm 47 and she's 51. You'd think we were a bunch of hippies all of a sudden! What have I started here? :)
