Hey thanks for the welcome.

Who would think that 4 years ago I might be needing this website for real. Surely no inkling way back then.

(Except BPH symptoms way back then).

In fact recently I was all geared up to see if the Marshall Protocol would be able to fight my BPH
(since anecdotal evidence among those members showed reducing BPH symptoms and PSA levels in a couple of cases as they moved along).

I even tested with a 48 ng/ml 1,25D level -- indicating systemic infection.

Well the PCa came along and although I could have tried for a year or two to use MP to bring down my prostate size
( and who knows maybe even eradicate the cancer in the process). I figured it was a bit too much of
a gamble since although the MP seems good at keeping Ca away from the members ( who are all by definition at elevated risk of it)-- it is less likely to be able
to get rid of it once it has started.

But I do plan to start er up (on the MP in a month or two for other reasons) and it just might prevent any
new Ca's from starting up.

This all based on the notion that inflammation sets the groundwork for Ca and the MP is good at eradicating
the bacteria that cause such chronic inflammation.

Time will tell, but then a negative result for more Ca over the years could just mean I was lucky so being on the MP won't
really be proof of prevention.

Might as well keep this topic going fo my own use for a while.

Post-op (+8 days) meeting and review of the Pathology Report:

Still Gleason 6 (3+3) 3 of 9 Blocks in right lobe -None in Left. pT2a.

Regional Lymph nodes 9 checked - 0 Involved.

Margins:
Capsular - Free of Tumor
Bladder Neck - Free of Tumor
Urethral - Free of Tumor

Extraprostatic Extension - Absent

Seminal Vesicle Invasion - Absent

Perineural Invasion - Absent

Right Pelvic Lymph Node - free of tumor

Left Pelvic Lymph Node - free of tumor

So that is all good stuff .. just have to see what happens with each PSA check for now on.

I also got the whole surgeon's report -- fascinating reading -- although who knows what most of it means!!?

Another week of the catheter - yeah these guys are conservative about keeping it in for 2+ weeks.

She mentioned ED therapies starting at about 6 weeks.

I laugh about the long lurking time and your amazements. This old joke/story explains it:

Hah hah hah ... so same for me. Until now, everything was OK (healthwise).

(also never really moniitored this website after signing up -- until now of course, so I was never a real lurker either ).
