Hi,
The catheter is finally out this week and the sun is bright again - that thing is a major burden to keep for two weeks. Dr Walsh believes keeping the cath for 14 days gives the best outcome as for side effects. However, the biggest surprise post-cath was that incontinence did not present as a problem at all. I was equiped with depends and pads and actually wore them for two days just in case but so far didn't leak even a drop. I did keggels for a week or two before surgery - not sure it this helped. There are good surprises on the road to recovery from PCa!
Still feel a little burining sensation while urinatig, but otherwise the recovery is going great. Long walks, driving, keep stamina not a problem. Still not ready for running, weightlifting, tennis, gym.
I wish everyone still looking for a treatment to soon find the best one for their case, and all on the other side a speedy recovery.
