Posted this yesterday, but got confused and posted it under some other disease forum, and people there probably thought I was off my rocker. Of course, people here might think the same thing...

Something I've noticed for a while, but it was too...odd...to bring up here. But heck, we talk about
everything else, and what better day than today. So--
I've done great in the incontinence department, only wore pads for a week, and probably didn't need them that long. One thing I noticed, though, is that somehow, some effort to make the bowels move also pushes out some additional urine. Not a problem if I'm sitting on the pot, trying to do that anyway. But, letting some gas out does the same thing. So I find I have to be even more careful than before in easing the gas out. This has led to only one accident in 3 months, and I continue to get better at control, so I can't complain.
I searched Healingwell.com for "flatulence", and came up with the ingenious idea: underwear with activated charcoal to absorb odors! Guess those Japanese astronauts didn't know about
that!
