I have been remiss in not visiting here and reaching out to help others as you all have reached out to help me.
On Tuesday afternoon I went to the office for a few hours --- at least that was the plan. I left at seven, as in 7 p.m. Since then I've been meeting with partners, banks, customers and our executive team while we figure out how to take advantage of the "opportunites" presented to us by the recession. Exciting? Yes, but I could stand a little less excitement.
I've been as careful as can be not to overdo it, so when I leave the office and come home I'm trying not to spend time on the lap top --- which just leads me to the emails and business stuff. I watch some TV, read in bed, and then turn the light out. One casualty, collateral damage, is not being here.
No promises as to when I'll be able to again be a proper part of this wonderful group, but as soon as things settle I'll be back. And, it won't be on the weekend. Meetings are set up for both days at the office. No rest for the wicked.
I have you all in my thoughts and prayers,
Sheldon AKA Sleepless
