Hormone therapy + Heart Disease = Risk

In an article appearing today in the Journal of the American Medical Association hormone therapy was strongly linked to increased mortality for men with heart disease

Geezer,
Good information. My oncologist insists on an Eco stress test and bone density test before putting anyone on HT. He also requires eating a heart healthy diet, supplements and a regimented excercise program, including weights for anyone on HT.

Thanks Geezer,
I have known this for some time, but it is a good reminder for those with heart disease to be asking questions while on HT. It is also a good idea to make sure the cardiologist is involved before starting HT.
