Hi all!
Well.......Some of us are just more luckier than others I guess. True, it's better not to ever have the prostate cancer invade and kill us,and yes, we are all grateful, and amen to that, but as a male species that we are, it' just hard to wrap around the concept that for some of us, we will never "get it back" like all the (FUN) times before the surgery, and that's hard to take. Prostate gone...ok. time to psychologically, and physically heal. I do envy those of you that underwent the 100% nerve sparing surgery and the odds of you getting all that back would be your blessing, but for myself, the cancer was mostly on my right side of the prostate,so I would say that he removed most of the right side of my nerve bundles,so I find myself in a little more of a sinking ship, with not much better odds of being saved in the sexual fulfillment area. I'm a guy. I would like an erection the way they used to be. True, orgasms are possible,I feel that they are more intense, but still very frustrating when it takes much more time and effort to achieve them nowadays, and it's just not the same when very limp. We should count our blessings that we are alive! Hang in there guys! Pray for me and I will do the same for all of you for a quicker recovery.
