When I found out that I would have to wait 4 months before treatment because of futher testing I asked my oncologist what I could do to stop the PC from growing, he said go on a vegetarian diet. When I laughed, he said he was not kidding. 10 years ago he said he would have laughed at anyone suggesting that, but after seeing hundreds of his patients on "wierd" diets having thier PC slow or stabalize he became a believer. He recommended "the China Study".
My PSA started dropping the 1st month on the diet and every month therafter. It had never dropped in 10 years, went from 40 to 30 in three months. Better yet, my cholesterol from 190 to 134; trigliserides from 358 to 204; glucose from 200 to 104 and weight from 175 to 161.
I'm not a total veg. I eat chicken, a lot of fish, and meat about once a month. The only dairy I eat is ice cream a couple of time a week. I still have a sweet tooth that I know will get me in trouble.
