What happens at the GFMPH (Good For Men's Prostate Health) event, stays at the event but IRS tax code requires a brief summary in the form of meeting minutes. I am therefore including some (but not all) of the noteworthy activities and discussion items from the Sept 25-27, 2009 meeting held in Rochester NY.
Prostate Health and related activities.
• The merits of various VED designs were discussed. Low cost, $30 unit, vs. High quality, high cost, medical grade, $400 unit.
• Training videos for Trimix intracavernous injections, trimix gel, and transurethral therapy, were watched and the merits of each discussed.
• The Medical Grade VED Video was shown and transferred to another member for inclusion on the website.
• There was a demonstration of macrosonic acoustic energy and its effect on the body.
• A medical grade Incontinence Clamp was studied and compared with two alternate low cost designs. One of the alternate designs was found to be very similar in function but at significantly lower cost.
• A medical grade TENS unit was demonstrated and the appropriate settings for a potential incontinence treatment were discussed.
Weather did not permit lighting of the traditional signaling bonfire so the alternative plan was initiated, possibly including:
Attendance at an estate sale and tour at one of the summer homes of Ingrid Bergman.
Attendance at the Manhattan shorts Film Festival
A brief tour of the Port of Rochester and Lake Ontario shoreline
The discharging of a couple of firearms. (A first for one attendee)
A visit to the local farm market were we watched apple cider being pressed and tempted fate by consuming copious quantities the freshly pressed and unpasteurized nectar.
An occasional nap in front of a warm TV.
Food was superb and voluminous in order to keep the energy up for such a strenuous weekend.
Two of the local restaurants were visited which afforded out of town guests the opportunity to study the local community and cuisine.
On site meals included:
Locally prepared stuffed olives, cheese curds, and peppadew peppers.
Strip steak (one attendee might have consumed more strip steak than the daily ration of an entire third world country), locally baked pumpkin pie with whipped cream.
Breakfast included half yolk scrambled eggs with the addition of cheese and shrimp to bring the cholesterol level up to specifications.
One attendee enjoyed a St. Francis of Assisi experience by surrounding himself with several chickadees while hand offering shelled sunflower seeds.
The conversations were great; the company even better. A good time was had by all.
Let’s do it again.
Meeting minutes respectfully submitted by,
Jeff (aka Worried Guy)
Hey Jeff;
Any chance that these training videos can be accessed online?
