I just got my six month PSA of 0.00 (I’ll have to ask if the doctor changed tests – I don’t recall getting hundredths before) I like to think of myself as not too much given to “PSA test anxiety” but the feeling of relief after getting off the phone told me otherwise. So here is a status report.
Incontinence – One light pad a day, never full. I just realized today that the last couple of weeks I have been going out without a spare pad so either my subconscious is a fool or it thinks I am doing well. Unlike many, my leakage problem seems to urge incontinence not stress. Many years ago we read a news article in which Queen Elizabeth, commenting on her travels, said that she had learned never to pass up a chance to visit the loo. My wife and I now refer to such visits as “following the queen.” I hope for improvement, but I live pretty easily with what I have now.
I also had post-operative trouble with a weak urinary stream -- perhaps 25% of pre-op. This has gotten better and I am now up to 40-50%. Still not what I would wish, but livable too.
ED remains a problem with nothing remotely usable in that department even with drugs. Fortunately we find ways to have fun in bed anyway. I am not ready to go the step of injections yet and my wife is fine with that saying “men overrate p*nises anyway.” Speaking of the same organ, the post-op shortness seems to have eased somewhat, and is at tolerable levels.
I know that this is a fairly long report, but I wanted to share it with those who have not yet walked the path this far. I wish you all zeros all the time.
P.S to brother Dale (who will always be my zero club president)
Ever since I sent you my credit card information to pay my dues, my statement shows weekly charges to “Madam Sophie’s House of Pleasure” I presume that this must be a charity devoted to GFMPH

Congrats on your 6 month 0. Thanks for warning about
the charitable charges to Madam sophies. I'll make sure and watch when I send in my dues to the 0 club! I got my first post surgery PSA 0 today

Dang I thought they would not put Madam's name on the credit card. It is part of my rehabilitation and I certainly appreciate you keeping the dues up to date. I do hope this discovery does not keep others out of the club I promise I will share the fun.
GREAT NEWS and I pray you will be a member for life.
Love you
Dale
