Thanks Jim how are you doing? I see you haven't tired yet of being a mod. Which is great this forum needs your common sense.

Dave it wasn't all that much courage at all. Soon after my Dx a local newsman had a TV special about his prostate cancer which was diagnosed earlier. Through his emmy winning special I learned of the options at the local university whose urologic oncology department is on the cutting edge and conducts a number of clinical studies. I basically just followed him after my cancer and his were close to identical. I had the same surgeon who is the director of research. Although he was my primary doctor the news mans was his boss the department head but my doctor did the actual saturation biopsy and cryosurgery on both of us. Alas the original 4 part schedule is no longer available online but below is a more recent presentation with the same newsman and a number of doctors concerning TFT.

We all deserve a break from this disease. We have had our differences Dave and arguments, but no way would I equate what I went through to the hell you are continually going through.

If anyone truly deserves a break here it's you.

its ok with me that we have had our differences, we are all human and full of opinions. i am sure your journey had its own particular sections of hell too, i certainly don't have a monopoly on that, trust me. PC is truly a horrible thing, I feel for every brother we have here, and their loved ones in dealing with it.
