I hope this comes across the way I want it too............ My trip has been unbelieveably easy compared to yours. I don't post a lot, but I read your threads and I feel guilty that mine has been so easy and yours has been so miserable.

Brother Bill, please, oh please don't harbor any guilt for having an easier ride. No one dealing with PC really has it easy, we just have different journeys with all kinds of twists and turns. I rejoice from the heart when I read of guys here breezing through surgeries, or RT or SRT, or seeding. I rejoice when a guy becomes dry almost instantly, and for those that have little or no trouble with ED after.

Like most things in life, things always average out to "normal". For normal to exist, there has to be extremes to the good, and extremes to the bad.

I appreciate your concern though. I am still a tough buzzard underneath the problems, and PC will never get me without a hell of a fight first from me, for that, I am determined and as stubborn as the proverbial rented mule.

David, I've been keeping up with you most recent journey. I'm so glad you're done with it. It reminds me of another courageous warrior that I have read about. It's a book called "In love & War" by Adm James & Sybil Stockdale. The late Adm recounts his experiences as a POW during the 'Nam years & his wife tells about her experiences back home raising a family & dealing with the Navy during his captivity. Your journey & his show us all what courage & dealing with a situation out of individual control is all about. I think you'd enjoy reading it.

Uncle Harley, I remember that Admiral's name, will have to check up on that book, espec. being an ex squid myself. People should not be allowed to have opinions about pain and torture, unless they are in that person's shoes, that's how I feel. I still think back in horror to how our American POWs were treated in Viet-Nam, even after all these years. It's easy to say "I would never spill the beans" if one isnt in pain.
