ED Importance -- is it just me?

Let me change the focus here a bit. Again, for me, ED is just not on the radar. My wife and I have been married for 34 years and our marriage will survive and be strong unimpeded by ED. That's just how we both see it.

I am concerned of course primarily about getting rid of the cancer and the continence issue. The latter is a very important second concern.

But, here's my point: does it matter? If I feel surgery is the best option for getting rid of the cancer, do those other concerns matter. Is the doctor going to do the surgery a different way depending on my concerns? Can he do a surgery that will guarantee me continence by sacrificing ED? I think not.

Am I making sense here?

First the PCa, then the incontinence, then the ED.
But they are all important- like air, water, and food. You don't realize their importance until you can't get them.
Right now incontinence is controlling more of my life than I care to admit. My ED does not factor in at all. Don't get me wrong, I still look. And even if Halle Berry asked me, I'd have to turn her down because I'd be too embarrassed about the diaper and pee pad. Oh, almost forgot, and my 34 year marriage.

The moment the Uro found the lump all I could think about was the cancer. It was the Uro and wife who were thinking ahead of the surgery.

My wife is also my nurse. Odd situation here. But it meant she was all over the issue.

Once she caught my ear my inner Tiger Woods kicked in and I shared my sweetie's concern. Mind you, my inner Tiger is very, very loyal.
