Testosterone Replacement Therapy and PCa

Many of our brothers here are faced with prostate cancer and hypogonadal ~ testosterone deficiency.

I don't know what to make of that article. I guess it just confirms the possible risk of taking the testosterone. I have avoided having a testosterone test since I don't want to take even the smallest chance of having my prostate cancer reoccur so why bother testing. I do realize having low testosterone may have cardiac consequences, but I'll risk that over recurring cancer.......

I was on TRT for years before cancer and went back on it 4 months after surgery. The devastating effect of low T nearly cost me my life. The return to TRT immediately relieved all the symptoms.

My T level runs about 500 which is in the normal range. If I had normal testosterone production, it would probably be in the same range whether I had PCa or not. Therefore keeping it there with TRT produces not greater risk.
