Hi David, in answer to your question, initially when my post radiation PSA came back as 0.4, we all thought that the PSA was on the way down and the SRT was a success, as you can see, it hovered around 0.4, 0.5, for quite a long time, and now is 0.6.
The theory is that some Pca cells had escaped into the system, either before or during the RP, obviously they were not present for the radiation to kill, my Oncologist says that wherever they are, they are growing very, very slowly, and being microscopic, are unable to be found until they start to grow, my doctors don't seem very concerned at this stage, probably because I am nearly 70, and the PSA is not rising dramatically. I feel good.
So David, hoping for a better result for you brother.
