difficulty urinating

My DaVinci surgery was Sept.17th. My PSA 3 months later was Less than 0.1. the last few days I have noticed that it is getting more difficult to urinate.I have to really concentrate and push to make a stream come out to where it seems like something is blocking the flow.I have not notified a doctor yet but if it keeps getting worse I will have to. Have any of you ever had anything like this happen? thanks, Wes .

wes, unfortunately, look at my stats, I am the king of that trouble, lol. not an honor i chose or desired. If that is already going on, get back with your uro and let them know right away. you dont want to be in the ER some cold night having an emergency catheter put in place. your uro may want to "scope" you so he can see if you are scarring over or if there is something else blocking your urethra.

please keep me posted, dont want you to go through what I am still going through

You don't want to experience total blockage, it is severly painful and you yearn for a catheter at that juncture...the relief thereafter is beyond sex and can last for over an hour(filled 1.5 bags in ER room....wow...wow...wow). Been there once and done that (no surgery however-gland in place and zapped later). I can say I agree with David talk to uro-doc asap find out why??

I will add to the other posters don't wait because in all likelihood it will only get worse. Call your URO and report your problem. I stopped peeing then had to drive 90 miles. Like you, I didn't want to go but believe me, it is the best thing to do.

My URo fixed me right there in his office in just a few minutes I was peeing like a horse.
