4 months later now trying to get the equipment working again

Scott, yes the pump is uncomfortable and your description of sucking your guts in is accurate. I had the biggest trouble with it pulling my scrotum inside. I found a set of 3 inerts/reducers that really help with the sucking feeling and gives a much more powerful seal at the same time. I use silicone rings and have no big problem with putting one on, just roll off the end of the pump and it's there. I have had some painful removals when I took one off without plenty of lube to help it slide off. Can't say that the routi9ne use of the pump or rings are painful, at best I can describe them as uncomfortable. But a necessary evil for those of us who wish to keep treasured tissues infused with blood and stretched so there isn't any more shrinkage.

I was was going to give you all an update as to my status and my results with a pump. so here goes. My surgery was May 14th 2009 so I am 8 1/2 months out. So far no usable erection but some firmness. I ended up buying an Encore pump. My Doctor was gong to have me meet with a some rep who sells pumps but the guy kept canceling so I just bought this online. It come with a manual pump and a battery powered one. From the beginning the lid that covers the battery would pop off if i got it just right I could keep it on long enough to use it. Then the last time I used it the release valve broke off when I was trying to remove the clear body tube to wash it. Thus far I have not contacted the company to see if they will replace it. The manual pump seems to be made a bit better so I have used that, I find I have to use one of the smaller bands which is slightly painful or during intercourse I loose firmness. I have a friend who is a year and a half out and it sounds like he is closer to being able to have erections on his own said as you get some more firmness on your own it makes the bands work better less likely to leak. I am happy to report PSA still Zero and have no incontinence issues. I remain optimistic on the ED. And I have tried all three ED meds all seem to work or not work the same.

Listen, nobody has worse reactions to the ED drugs than me. Viagra turns my world blue, gives me flushing and a headache. Levitra the same. Cialis is like having a bad cold that lasts for two days. However.....I have found that Cialis in the 5 mg dose has no side effects and is taken every other day. That might get the blood flowing and maybe, like me, you'll start to see Willy waking up, and if not getting to work, at least poke his head up to see what's going on.
