re: billymac posting - found it odd that the owner of the firt site wrote a letter to the viewer two days in advance - and is a DR. med ( doctor of medicine? - or dry medium?)

I only post here, once in awhile i'll look elsewhere. I think there are a alot of knowledgeable people on this site, yea we get carried away sometimes but to me that helps with healing. Thanks to everyone that does post wether it be humor or serious.

Hw has become a place for brotherhood in PC. I have met some Great Guys that I can talk to about my ED where I can not with my friends in my home town. The don't want to hear that willie is not working. I can just sign on and ask. Who as injection experience and Bam...lots of responces. So far my journey as been mostly easy, some of my brothers are having a more difficult time and I walk with them and we chat on Wed night in the chat room about other things that are not PC related.

I am thankful for all my friends here and value each and every one of them.

I think all of us can google any pure information we want. In fact , there is so much information, that we can't digest it all.

What I have found on HW is digested data, guys have retrieved it and filtered it out. Guys like Tony, John T, Tudpock, etc, etc, are scholars of PC. No other forum has quite the combo found on here.

I have looked at Yannow, I go to New Prostate Cancer Link when things are slow on here, but this is my mainline.

Form here, i have developed my future decision points, treatment plans, and enjoy helping the new guys.

Peter, what a great site. Thanks, and thanks to all the moderators as well.

I am on several forums, but I mainly stay here. Here are my primary forums:

HealingWell ~ almost daily, but it has been sporadic lately. Work, Work Work...

The "New" Prostate Cancer InfoLink Social Network ~ Occasionally. I am involved with the folks who run that site ~ Prostate Cancer International.

Cancerforums.net ~ Very rare. I admire the Moderator there ~ Replicant. Good guy!

Healthboards ~ Even more rare.

Zero ~ The project to end prostate cancer. Very rare. But I work with the CEO on his request.

USTOO International ~ Not on the internet board. But I am a Chapter President here in Las Vegas. We have over 275 members, 60 or so that attend regularly our monthly meetings. I enjoy these live discussions and like here, the folks became my friends. I believe that my role as a moderator here at HealingWell better prepared me for the live interactions. I recommend these live forums every bit as much as our forum here. I understand that some of our other chapters have difficulty in getting guest speakers, but ours is a large one and doctors want to come and speak. We are very lucky. Guest speakers have included Mark Moyad, Bob Lebowitz, Duke Bahn, Mark Scholz, Nick Vogelzang, and many more.

Tony, Replicant (Cancer Form) is a wonderful man...in the early days after my husband's diagnosis (before I found HW!), I posted a fair amount on his forum. Replicant provided alot of emotional and educational support when we first began our journey. With that being said, the comraderie here on HW is what keeps me coming back - every day (and sometimes several times a day). As I've said before, the people on this forum are absolutely wonderful. Thank you for the part that you and James play in making this such a supportive place for all of us.

Bill, those are likely Google Ads. We don't have a much control over them unfortunately.... other than Google's screening process. You can report those kind of ads by clicking on the "Ads by Google" link in most cases.

I see that you are correct and they are indeed Google ads. I thought it was odd given the high standards of this forum. I will take your advice.
