Geezer not old geezer but angry

Medicine seems to be in midevil times for this condition?
what no cauterize, just bleed?
no comparitive scans like a breast exam???

I guess the old geezer bit is my anger over this cornfusing process. all shades of gray, some have moderate pain some have no pain for biopsy. I am almost 68. 1st detected a slight elevation of psa to 4.65 a year ago. and a slight hardness on right side of prostate. Now after a year, my latest psa was 4.5. holding and still slight firmness on right side.

I have had a sore groin for a year BUT that has subsided. No voiding difficulty except the old dribbles, heck I been dribbling for 10 years. I lost decent erections about 15 years ago. My doc say sugar diab!! But I can still do a quicky.

I had a trigger finger with a cortisone shot to the joint that was a lifetime high on the pain score.
wonder how that compares to the rectal needle?

I really appreciate this group, it is a God Send!

My favorite urologist is close by in Muretta ca. refered by a family doctor long time friend.
But only Lidocaine, Oh well, 20 minutes of pain versus years of agony!!!

2nd urologist in redlands offers IV sedation at the hospital and prefers 20 to 25 core.

Monday i will have a color dopplor ultrasound to take a pic of the beast.
I have to pay medicare won't.

Then between my doctor and I we'll probably decide the biopsy because like you all say, I'm tired of wondering.

I take sow paminto, and selenium and have cut out the beef.
