Today was the third time trying Trimix and it was (almost) the charm. I tried .08 at the Uro, a couple of days later I tried .12 and got a good partial. Today I tried .16 and got a 90%er that was even usable. It lasted about 30 minutes - which is 25 minutes longer than I lasted before the surgery. tongue

Better living through chemistry!

After 7 months, I now feel there is hope.
Now if only I can get rid of these @#$% pee pads.

Jeff,

Question on quantity of trimex. I just had my first injection in the Uro's office on last Monday. He said he injected .20 ml...at least i I think it was mill liter. I got some result, but less than 50%. Next Monday he is going to have me injected .30 ml. Is your injection ml? If so you certainly don't need much of the stuff to get good results.

The syringes I use are 1cc or 1 ml. The .16 was only about 1/2 inch on the scale. Not much at all! My mix was called Trimix #1. Not sure if that makes a difference.

By the way, my leak seems unaffected by the activity. Rats! I hoped I could consider that therapy.

The Uro said to not use it more often that once in 48 hours. I'll have to wait until Sunday before I can try .20. This is very exciting!
I will try to get one of Mr Gimpy's suggested auto-injectors. The injection part still gives me the creeps. I'll never make a good IV drug abuser.

Congrats on the woody - maybe this will help get your mind off PCa for a while - I am sure you wife will appreciate the increase in the time-line - a good diversion for her too.
This will certainly help lift your spirits and self-worth - very pleased for you.
Hopefully your doctor talked to you about rotating injections sites ( left and right side - dominent and other hand being used to inject)

Keep up with the kegels re: pads -

I will be investigating trimix / bimix when I see my doctor in April. My Mr. Happy gets thicker but not much else...

Once again - congrats !!!

Bronson, I am being very careful about alternating sides. I write it down. Would you expect anything less from a mental case like me?

David, Jeff, And May the Wood be with you too. Actually I found it started up again after I got dressed and was sitting on my tractor snowblowing my driveway. We had 15 inches with drifts of 3 feet - taller than the drift cutters on the blower. "Someone" should have been outside doing the driveway earlier when the snow was only 8-10 inches deep -but he was busy. Anyway, about 10 minutes into the job I started feeling pressure inside my snowsuit. I was getting a Trimix woodie again! Useless. I like my Cub Cadet but getting hard over it is just too much.

I will sleep well tonight.

Hi Jeff,

Welcome to the Trimix side,. You likely now have the right dosage but need to perfect the process to get longer lasting erections. The more time you keep the meds from initially flowing out of the penis the longer your erection will last

I am now looking for the auto-injector you recommended. (BD) My pharmacy does not carry them and recommended another pharmacy that is closed today. Ill talk with them on Monday. I can really see how that would make things more psychologically manageable. In my wildest dreams I never thought I'd ever be sticking a needle there.

Colin, Yes this was a big step. I think I see some light far, far, at the other end of the tunnel.

Len and Ed, Next time I will use 0.20. If it really lasts 2 hours I will be sure to stick it in the 2 feet of snow we have here.

Jeff T, A man and his tools. I already have a tool box in the garage, basement, barn, now I've added one to the bedroom - in addition to the one I carry with me.
