Just stumbling over sites relating to prostate cancer and various predicting modules - and came across this....
www.prostatecancerfoundation.org/site/c.itIWK2OSG/b.410465/k.9CB0/FORTUNE_Magazine.htmAs an artist, I am not one to have FORTUNE magazine on my subscript
ion list - but found it interesting that their annual feature article on Prostate Cancer is set up as an advertising feature !?
Mind you, they claim to be raising money for "Prostate Cancer Foundation". The hairs on the back of my neck when up when viewing the great TRON graphics of Aureon Labs in which they claim they can do better prediction modules for post-surgery and for re-analyzing pre-op biopsies. I thought I could smell snake oil while reading it.
I couldn't make up my mind if Fortune Magazine were doing a public service ( but making money from it), informing readers of medical advances ( but making money from it) or simply as stated - our disease is an advertising feature !
There is a recent antique magazine in which the editor claims that recent antique sales /auctions have gone up since VIAGRA started their new campaign- the man in the commercial states he no longer has time to go antiquing with his wife (once a favourite past time) since he started using Viagra.... ED is already an advertising feature .....
maybe we can get PCa registered on the New York Stock Exchange....
