Splitting 100 mg Viagra

In trying to deal with post operative ED.  I first used 10 mg ov Levitra.  It actually gave me a slight but unusable erection, more of a chubby thing.  Sorry but I can't think of a more appropriate way to say it.  However, I also got a fair amount of penile pain, thereby diminishing my desire to use again or increase the dosage.  So, last night I split a 100 mg Viagra and took the slightly larger half.  All I got was one heck of a stufffy nose and a crummy, lingering bad aftertaste in my throat.  I am wondering if anyone else has had this experiencel.  Also, given the very hard coating on Viagra, it doen's seem it should be split.  doing that seems to ruin the coatings ability to deiver it over a planned time period.  Any thoughts?  I'd appreciate them.

The real Viagra's are very hard to split with just your fingers, you need a pill splitter

Generics are quite easy to break in half with your fingers

I suspect the powder is causing the bad after-taste. There is no reports that a Viagra cannot be split, Some medications are designed to be absorbed in the intestines and have a special coating for that, Viagra does not see to be one of those

Note: Viagra does give a stuffy nose symptom, they are also very picky with the foods that you have eaten, especially fatty foods

We are about the same time post surgery.

Chubby is a good word for Mr. Woody but that's better than the first few months when there are no reponse at all.

I use a VED for 15 min every day.  I also use half a Viagara (25 mg) a few times a week.  Bit of a stuffy nose and flushing in the face.

Pre surgery Viagara always used to give me a nice extra boost.  Willing to wait a year to see whether it will give me a usable erection.

Got my 100 MG's through "North drugs: Canada. Manufactured in India and were shipped to me from Germany. HUGE cost advantage! These pills have a crease down the middle and using a splitter the obviously split quite well but splitting the two halves at 90 degrees don't go that well BUT close enough.

Any local Pharmacy or even supermarket would carry a pill splitter

Note : There is no time release effect with Viagra, its duration in your system is 4-5 hrs max

Also, key is to take it 1 hr after you ate and do not eat again for 2-3 hours

Also, in post op recovery the benefit of oral ED drugs is its healing via increasing blood flow not erections. Nocturnal erections are key to healing but you may not even know that occur

Even before surgery, to get the most from Viagra, I would chew up a 100mg and swallow it with a glass of water on an empty stomach..You get a bit of a "rush" when you do that and the hoped-for effect occurs in about 10 minutes..They don't taste too bad, kind of like baking soda..

Post surgery, nothing has worked so far, and having been put on HT and starting radiation tomorrow, my status as one of the worlds great lovers has sadly come to an end....

While "nerve-sparing" sounds good, I have a feeling some important blood vessels can get cut during surgery which are just as important as the nerves...But hope springs eternal...

I split the 100mg Viagra's all the time as I didn't get any 'more' from 100mg than 50mg, and the whole pills at each dose cost exactly the same -- 50% discount!

The taste is awful once you break the coating, but the effects are the same.
