Post Surgery Pathology

New here, open surgery 3/12/10

Gleason 3+3 throughout, organ confined.

My questions they removed 9 pelvic lymph nodes and the pathology report stated all9 nodes negative for tumor (pending 1C)

Any concern for the pending 1C issue and anyone know what that means?

1/27/10 biopsy revealed 3 core 3+3=6 60%
surgery 3/12/10 JHU Surgeon Dr. Partin.
open surgery, most painful thing I have ever experience was yelling for pain meds in recovery.
In hospital 1 night released 3/13/10 at 4 P.M. Should have stayed a second night sent home ( 2 hour drive in a rainstorm)
Catheter self removed 3/21, staples removed 3/24. Experience severe post-op pain, maybe just my make-up but certainly did not refuse RX for pain meds.
Post-op Pathology:
Adenocarcinoma ( conventional, Nos)
Gleason 3+3=6
Tumor Extent: Moderate
location: Right, anterior, lateral, apex, mid
Organ Confined
Margins: Negative
Seminal Vesicle Invasion: None
Lymphatic (Small Vessel) Invasion: Absent
Pelvic Lymph Nodes (Includes all parts)
All 9 nodes negative for Tumor (pending 1C)
Primary Tumor: pT2: Organ confined throughout
Regional Lymph nodes: pNO
Note: There are multiple scattered foci of 3+3=6 throughout the prostate
Incontinence: 2-3 pads per day, dry at night, getting better by the day
ED: 50% erections (both nerve bundles were spared)
Morning erections, ejaculation normal except for urine ejaculating.
Returned to work, desk job half days on 3/18.
Appetite not back to normal, very diminished energy level.
Crash at 2PM like clock work, better after evening meal.
All in all much more pain than expected but on the mend.

I take it you mean "orgasm normal" not "ejaculation normal" as ejaculation is a thing of the past for us post surgery guys!

Does "pending 1c" perhaps just mean that the staging for the lymph glands is 1c at present but is "pending" as not every part of the lymph system has been investigated.
