Hi everyone,
My urologist suggested internet discussion for continued support and advice, so here I am.
I was sexually active pre surgery, and am now looking to resume. The first challenge, of course, will be ED. I will be trying Viagra, Cialis, and Levitra to see how they workI know that some of you are using a pump, which I will likely try as well. My biggest concern (perhaps fear), however will be finding a partner who would be willing to join me in whatever sexual activity might evolve. I haven't tried, yet, but would be interested in hearing from others about their experiences.

Pre diagnosis:
Moderate ED
PSA was 4.5
Using Viagra 100mg
Using Testosterone injections
Biopsy: Gleason 3+3
DaVinci nerve sparing surgery 6/08
3/10:
Incontinence minor, no pads
Testosterone not allowed
ED: Not back to pre surgery level
Intercourse not possible
Orgasm: Excellent quality, but a lot of work.
Investigating Viagra, Cialis, and Levitra (free introductory pills)

Glad you found our small corner of the world. Ask any questions that come to mind, we have men here that are experienced in all my phase or possibility in their PC journeys. No such thing as a dumb question to us.

We even had good sisters here, that may want to take a shot at your questions from a woman's point of view.

I predict that you will find a willing partner.  Unless you are very lucky, it will take some patience and a sense of humor, because I also predict that many women will not be interested unless you are wealthy.

Most guys who are willing to try, can have successful intercourse with injections -- this can make foreplay a bit odd, you are flaccid, excuse yourself to go to the bathroom, and then boom -- a bit of self stimulation while standing over her and you are hard. Clearly it is probably best to give a low key warning so she understands why she can't bring you up by herself, but as far as performance, it is all there and so she doesn't have to accommodate to much.

Read about the experience that various guys have had with injections and expect to experiment alone because you need to learn dosage and technique.

Most of all, remember that especially for women, lovemaking isn't so much about penetration as it is about physical and emotional contact and your ability to give that will be unchanged.
