Although influenced by a Lupron haze, I scored another psa result of <0.01, undetectable. This is at 8 months post surgery, and 2 months post RT. Next test is in September, and is the one I will be anxious about
, as the Lupron should be totally worn off at that time. So, I think I will hold off seeking admission into the zero club until that time.
When I met with the Uro today I complained about
the hot flashes and night sweats I have been having steadily for about
3 months now. He wrote a scrip for Megestrol, a hormone usually prescribed for women who are suffering like I am. I will gladly try it, after all how much more feminine can I get? I will report back here on how it works, and maybe it will be useful information to someone who may be on the fence about
HT. I’ll just have to hold off any breast feeding. (Wonder if that means giving or getting?)
He also gave me the green light to work on the ED, and a scrip for Viagra. Looking forward to that part of the journey.
