hoorah! - I got my angry design accepted at the Sponsafier Nascar design contest ( yes, I know I said I would stop at three designs)

I have been very lucky compared to some here on HW - with recovery - support - and few complications - and a first post-op PSA result for zero Club status !

But there are many angry moments we all feel - some more than others - anger against prostate cancer - confusion and lack of details regarding surgery and other treatment forms - anger that our lives are changed forever ....

But some things do not change - the love of family - the love of life - the desire to fight back and WIN this fight - to find & receive support from such wonderful sites like Healingwell ( thank you Peter and moderators and members...) and various hospitals and clinics ...

On July 1 - Canadian celebrate 143 years since Confederation - and on July 4th, our American cousins celebrate their Independence Day - 234 years - let's all celebrate another year (or less for some) in our battle against Prostate Cancer !

Hey Tatt ...

Voting early and often here also.

I am amazed at how many separate logins I have access to in this here 21st century.

But the total votes does not seem to be going up with each one. Do they know it is always ME even if different logins? (It lets me vote but then later the actual number of votes gets ratcheted back down to a lower value).

Hmmmm.

Will keep on trying tho ..

Jim - if you go to one of the cars ( ->view button)- vote - and then click on my name -> tatt2man at the site - it will automatically bring you to the master garage for me ( tatt2man ) and then you can see all the cars and vote for the one(s) you like...
-is kinda awkward but still fun ... you can also do word searches for the different themes and categories -

- p.s. I never drive angry - nearly go into a smashup on friday ( he missed me by a few inches) - I was going onto road from parking lot at work - looked left - all clear - looked right - a car was at the other parking lot but staying put - all clear - proceeded out into the road and HONK HONK HONK - this white coloured truck came out of nowhere ( there is a bend in the road 200 yd down the way) at about 100 mph ... and nearly missed me... I kept my cool and stayed well behind him to watch his actions ( whether he would be drunk or any more reckless behaviour)... he came upon another stop light and pulled back into the lane in front of me ( instead of beside me - expecting an earful regarding his speeding) ... and then he turned off and disappeared in a shot...

Is that your picture on the Hood of the Car? Saw the word censored several times ....Is that part of your design or something they did?

At any rate enjoyed it and plan to show to a friend of mine that his handicap and loves racing.

-the [censored] was one of the clip art items you could use in the design -it allows you, the viewer, to react and fill in the gaps - and to relate to the anger of having cancer ( prostate cancer / breast cancer / colon cancer / lung cancer/ bladder cancer ) they have all affected my family in some way or another ...
- what was frustrating was that one design was declined for "being offensive" because I used the [censored] image, even though it was one of their variables for me and others to use.
- I guess it just depended on who was acting as webmaster/consultant that day.
- and yes, that is a pix of me on the hood -
- you can see me smiling on the other design - Faces of PCa -

- another car design to raise prostate cancer awareness - this time - THE DREADED D.R.E. !! shocked

-and they even accepted the awareness ribbons this time ! ( they cited trademark mumbo jumbo previously)

-am currently working on a stage play/revue ( actually a man's version of the vagggina monologues - our friend -> the prostate !) for local stage reading event - so the creative juices are flowing ..... idea

-please note: all characters in the play are based on fiction, etc..... and only a coincidence.... and the deadline for submission is July 21! smhair
