Just checking in anyone on this forum has had small debris in his urine?
Four weeks after da vince and one week after catheter has been removed I still have small little blood cloths coming out when I urinate .
Sometimes they even get stuck and after a while they come out.
My doctor tells me not to worry about
it,but I am.
Had a bad bladder infection what has cleared up.
For the rest al test results are great it was contained to the prostate and no further treatment necessary .
Thanks for any feedback.

Hey Mr. Blue,
Your symptoms are perfectly normal.
Your doctor is right, don't worry.
Many of us who are healthy now had the same symptoms, including myself.
Rest easy, my friend, and keep asking questions.

If you read on here, you will find that chunks of fun stuff come out for a long time. Listen to your doctor. It's human nature to worry, but he is right. Do you have trouble trusting him in other areas?
Tons of stuff and blood may come out during urination. The only time to worry is when nothing comes out. Even when I thought i had copious amounts of blood in my urine 3 weeks out, they could not have been less concerned. Ruptured capillaries - no big deal.
You are fine. Don't worry about
the little stuff.

It's scary but normal. I am at one year and still pass a little tidbit every now and then. (Yuk)

Same here - at up to 6 months out from DaVinci I was still passing bits of tissue that were actually the scabbing peeling off the urethra sutures.
The doctor said it was expected.

Being on a constant catheter, I always get to see what's in my pee. I still get debris and squiggly blood creatures from time to time in my bags, nothing to worry about
, especially since you are not that far out from surgery. Good luck

David,
You are the catheter expert so I defer to your vast store of knowledge. Thank you for correcting my inaccurate term, "tidbit", and introducing me to the correct technical term, "squiggly blood creatures". Very descript
ive. ;-)

Thank you, Jeff, that's the novelist in me, I just make up terms if need be.
Good luck in your recovery, Mr. Blue
